Portage

Teage and I took the boys on our first road trip last week, to Utah to go to conference. Teage's sister lives in Utah so we were able to drop the boys off there while we went to two sessions in the Conference Center. What a great experience it was!
While we were there, we also had the great opportunity to go to a little town called Portage, Utah. This little town is populated by only about 200 people, right on the border of Idaho, near Malad. But more importantly to me, this is the little town that my great great grandfather settled in the early days of the church. This is where my grandparents lived most of their lives, and where they are buried as well. I used to come here every summer as a child and have such fond memories of this beautiful place. I was able to visit my grandparents grave sites, as well as some distant relatives who are buried there as well. I took some pictures while we were there, to remember those fun times with family and to preserve some of my family history. Just thought I would share a few...

My adorable boys

Hi guys! I haven't posted in a really long time...I know. Things have been a bit crazy. But I did want to share just a few pics of the boys from last Sunday. They were just so adorable in their little church shirts that I had to continue snapping photos.

Miss C

I found this picture the other day of our last outing a few months ago. I can't believe I let it slip through the first time, I just love it! Her facial expression is to die for! :)

Misty Morning

This morning while I took the boys on a walk, I decided to take advantage of the beautiful misty morning scenery. The frost was still abundant while we walked, and I couldn't help but thank Heavenly Father for the beauty of our earth. Here are some of the shots that I got while my boys screamed at me to keep walking... :)

I absolutely LOVED this spider web. If you look closely you can see that there is a rainbow reflected in it as well. :)

Bailey Family

So, I just did these pictures this afternoon, but was so excited about a few of them (adorable Issy!) that I edited them right away and decided to share. :) It was cold and windy outside today (not an ideal way to take family pictures), but Issy was a real trooper! I chose a new location as well, which I think I will use again. The trains are such beautiful back drops. I also used spot metering the whole time which I don't normally do (but should!) and felt like I really got the hang of it on this run. Thanks Bailey family! :)

Miss E

I had the opportunity to take some senior pictures the other day for my sister's good friend. We had so much fun! She was just a natural poser and had the best outfits! Here are some of my favorites:

Winter

I found this picture the other day, one that I had done last winter when we had the big snow. I looked at it again and decided that I actually quite liked it, so I thought that I would share. :)
