Miss C

I found this picture the other day of our last outing a few months ago. I can't believe I let it slip through the first time, I just love it! Her facial expression is to die for! :)

Misty Morning

This morning while I took the boys on a walk, I decided to take advantage of the beautiful misty morning scenery. The frost was still abundant while we walked, and I couldn't help but thank Heavenly Father for the beauty of our earth. Here are some of the shots that I got while my boys screamed at me to keep walking... :)

I absolutely LOVED this spider web. If you look closely you can see that there is a rainbow reflected in it as well. :)

Bailey Family

So, I just did these pictures this afternoon, but was so excited about a few of them (adorable Issy!) that I edited them right away and decided to share. :) It was cold and windy outside today (not an ideal way to take family pictures), but Issy was a real trooper! I chose a new location as well, which I think I will use again. The trains are such beautiful back drops. I also used spot metering the whole time which I don't normally do (but should!) and felt like I really got the hang of it on this run. Thanks Bailey family! :)

Miss E

I had the opportunity to take some senior pictures the other day for my sister's good friend. We had so much fun! She was just a natural poser and had the best outfits! Here are some of my favorites:

Winter

I found this picture the other day, one that I had done last winter when we had the big snow. I looked at it again and decided that I actually quite liked it, so I thought that I would share. :)

Waggoner Family Preview

Teage and I got to go to Selah this last weekend to visit our great friends the Waggoners. I took some shots of their beautiful family as well, and here is a little preview of how they turned out. I absolutely ADORE Madison in these shots. There are other cute ones also, but I didn't have time to edit them quite yet. Thanks Karine for letting me use your adorable daughter!!! :) Love you guys!

Blaine

This last weekend Teage and I went up to Bellingham to visit some of our college friends. While we were there, I had the opportunity to take pictures of this adorable daughter of a friend of mine, named Blaine. She was such a good sport in the freezing cold weather, but I could not get her to smile much. :) And as you can see, children are a not my forte....though they are a ton of fun. I just can't seem to adjust my setting quickly enough to get a great shot at just the right time, they are so wiggly! :) I had lots of fun with Blaine though, and I really hope that her parents like the pictures!! Thanks Kaitlyn for letting me experiment on your beautiful daughter!

Isn't she adorable?? :)

Family Pictures

I decided the other day that I wanted to take some shots of our family in a more "formal" setting, so I could actually have one of the four of us to put on the wall! :) So, we went out on this trail near our house and I just set up the camera myself to take some pictures. Definitely not as good as they could be, but some turned out ok. Just wanted to share.

Most of these were taken with a 4.5 ap, as that was the lowest I could go and still get the shot. I also didn't even think about the boys' white shirts, silly me. That made it hard to get the contrast just right, oh well. :)

The boys "bonking"....their own little show of love. :)

Having fun with the fam

We went over near Alki Beach the other weekend with Teage's brother Brook. He had just returned from his mission, so we wanted to show him some of the sights of Seattle. I took a few pics of the boys while we were there....

OK, so I went a little too crazy with the contrast on this one....I may have to fix that.

This is one that I took of their cousin Kai at his birthday party. I just love the expression on his face!
